BARBOUR COUNTY, Ala. (WTVY) -An investigation is underway after a single vehicle crash early Saturday morning in Barbour County left a Florida woman dead and another passenger injured.
Simeon Onnette, 46, of Lauderhill, Florida, was fatally injured when a 2004 Toyota Sienna van left the road, struck a ditch and a tree, and then overturned, according to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency. Onnette was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver, 35-year-old Josue Joseph of Union Springs, was traveling on U.S. 82 when the crash occurred at approximately 4:23 a.m. near the 221 mile marker, about seven miles east of Midway…
