County fairs, a staple of northwest Ohio culture, mark the end of summer and the beginning of fall. The Lucas County Fair, Wood County Fair, and Monroe County Fair are all in the history books for the summer. Kids showed their 4-H animals, rickety rides zoomed overhead, and junk food was consumed.
