LAS VEGAS (KLAS) – Proponents of a veteran’s housing complex are keeping their fingers crossed ahead of a vote from Clark County Commissioners.
According to Sheila Lambert with Patriot Housing LV, the Clark County Zoning Commission will have the final say on September 2 to rezone 15 of 31 acres of public facility land to a residential multifamily zone that would allow for the veteran’s housing proposal to become reality.
The project will bring 348 units for active-duty military, veterans, and their families on 15 acres of land south of Vegas Valley Drive and west of Treeline Drive.

“This project would serve active duty and veterans, includes 2 swimming pools, mass amenities from a dog park to playground to pickleball courts,” said Lambert. “It’s kind of different in the sense that it adds some luxury for those who may not always be able to afford some luxury by even having 2 gyms on site, 2 swimming pools, and security fenced in a safe, secure residential area.”…
