GOODYEAR, Ariz. (AZFamily/Gray News) – A 92-year-old Arizona man accused of attacking and killing his wife had been showing signs of dementia, his family says.
John Biggs Jr., 92, was arrested Monday after his wife, 89-year-old Jane Biggs, was found dead inside their home, according to the Goodyear Police Department. He is facing charges of second-degree murder and aggravated assault.
Investigators say the suspect’s adult son told them he traveled from out of state to check on his father, who, he said, had been showing signs of dementia.
