The 2026 N.C. Mountain State Fair will bring new rides, performances and food vendors to the WNC Agricultural Center in Fletcher from Sept. 11 through Sept. 20. The annual fair combines agricultural competitions and exhibits with a midway and live entertainment.
Four rides will make their fair debut through midway provider Drew Exposition. The Dairy sends riders spinning in flying cow cars, while The Horror Hotel offers a walk-through spookhouse. Crazy Cars is designed for children, and The Aeromax carries adults and children about 40 feet into the air in brightly colored airplanes.
Three new acts are joining the grounds entertainment. Comedy juggler Neils Dunker, a Netherlands native who holds three Guinness World Records, will perform his solo show daily during the fair…
