Ocean County Nursing Director Pleads Guilty to Assaulting Elderly Resident, Covering Up Attack

An Irvington woman who served as director of nursing at an Ocean County rehabilitation facility pleaded guilty Friday to striking a 77-year-old resident with a broom and then attempting to suppress the subsequent investigation, New Jersey Attorney General Jennifer Davenport announced.

Patricia Lindo-Ahono, 60, entered her plea before Superior Court Judge Guy P. Ryan in Ocean County.
