LA GRANGE, CA — August 27th 2026 — “This morning, at approximately 1:54 am, the Tuolumne County Sheriff’s Office (TCSO) received a call from an 81-year-old Confidential Victim (CV) reporting being attacked by Cinthia Lana Beglinger, age 44, of La Grange, CA, who entered CV’s home while CV was sleeping. The CV reported several injuries as a result of Beglinger’s attack and that Beglinger was in her trailer on the property.
Deputies arrived on scene and contacted CV. While on scene, deputies observed injuries consistent with skin tearing, lacerations to the hands, face and head; to include CV’s left ear being partially torn off. Deputies secured the scene and called for an ambulance to treat and transport CV to the hospital for medical care.
Deputies remained on scene, and Beglinger was informed that she was going to be arrested for multiple violent felonies. After several attempts to establish communication, the suspect barricaded herself inside of a travel trailer. Deputies attempted to talk Beglinger out of the trailer when she started making threats to shoot deputies. Beglinger refused to exit the trailer and started covering the windows…
