HINDS COUNTY, Miss. (WJTV) – An 18-year-old pled guilty in connection to a fatal carjacking.
Hinds County District Attorney Brad McCullouch announced that Kendarius Shaw, 18, pled guilty to second-degree murder and armed carjacking.
The fatal carjacking occurred near Highway 80 and Robinson Road in Jackson in March 2023. According to McCullouch, investigators determined that Shaw and two juveniles attempted to carjack Audriana Simincton, 29, while she was stopped at a red light with her daughter.
