HONOLULU (Island News) – On Monday, Honolulu Police Department (HPD) Chief David Lazar named Interim Deputy Chief Brandon Nakasato and Major Parker Bode as HPD’s new permanent deputy chiefs.
Nakasato has about 27 years of service with HPD and has held a broad range of patrol, investigative and administrative assignments. Bode joined HPD in 2010 and has 16 years of service with the department. He has administrative experience including significant service in the Human Resource Division.
