Adams Elementary rebuild in Spokane moves toward 2027 opening

Spokane, Wash. — Construction at the new Adams Elementary on Spokane’s South Hill is well underway, with three floors of the building now visible and the school expected to open to students for the 2027 school year.

NonStop Local was at the construction site and escorted by Spokane Public Schools and Garco to the second floor of the building on Friday, where they explained the construction process and timeline.

Spokane Public Schools said the plan placed the building as close to the 37th and Regal intersection as possible to help protect student privacy. The playground and parking lots were expected on the south and southwest side of the property…
