Cody Johnson, CoJo, performed at Grand Casino Arena over the weekend. Not only did CoJo and crew dazzle the fans in attendance, but he also supported a nearby business when his crew and openers got hungry!
Cody Johnson Fed His Crew & Openers
When you are out on the road performing night in and night out, things can start to get pretty routine. You know what you like, and you probably have some fast food fallbacks to get you out of a tough jam when you’re hungry, but what do you do when you’ve got a crew that’s 100+?

Cody Johnson found himself in that situation this weekend before he performed at Grand Casino Arena in St. Paul. It turns out CoJo went to a nearby restaurant and asked for 100 burgers and fries to be delivered to feed his openers and crew!
Cody ended up calling on Shamrock’s Irish Nook for the food, and from the video, they had the grill full of burgers and the fryers working hard to fill the monster order!
What a great gesture by Cody!
Locally, Darius Rucker Prefers Cheese Curds
Cody Johnson isn’t the exception to the rule for going out and supporting a local business when their tour rolls through town. When Darius Rucker played The Ledge last year, the rumor was he ordered up a large delivery of cheese curds from H.R. Pesty’s in Waite Park for himself and the crew.
While we never saw Darius eating the curds, we can just assume they were good as no one saw or heard of any leftovers……
