PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) – A man was arrested early Saturday morning after stealing a car that had a passenger inside and leading deputies on a high-speed chase, authorities announced.
Around 2:45 a.m., deputies with Washington County Sheriff’s Office were conducting a Labor Day weekend DUII enforcement mission when a deputy spotted two vehicles driving west on Highway 26 neat SW Murray Blvd. at a high rate of speed.
The deputy caught up to the two vehicles and noticed the driver of a white Audi tried to flag him down to direct his attention to a black Mercedes.
