Downtown restaurant to host competition for best chef in Fresno

FRESNO, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – A Downtown Fresno nonprofit and restaurant is hosting a competition to find the city’s best chef while also helping save the kitchen and provide quality food for the community.

Starting Friday, 16 Chefs will compete at My Homie’s Kitchen for a $5,000 grand prize and the title of Fresno’s best chef, but organizers say it goes well beyond glory behind the grill.
