EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) – A 23-year-old man was arrested early Sunday morning after El Paso County Sheriff’s deputies said he fled from a traffic stop and reached speeds of more than 100 mph.
According to the sheriff’s office, the incident happened around 4:18 a.m. September 13, when a deputy observed a black Dodge Charger traveling at a high rate of speed near the 14,400 block of Gateway Boulevard West.
The deputy attempted to stop the vehicle on Interstate 10 West, but the driver allegedly failed to stop and accelerated to speeds exceeding 100 mph, according to the sheriff’s office…
