LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Louder Than Life is bringing crowds to the Kentucky Exposition Center, but many festivalgoers are also spending time and money at businesses and restaurants across Louisville before heading to the festival grounds.
More than 200,000 metalheads are expected to attend this year’s rock and metal festival, which runs through Sunday. Last year, Louder Than Life drew 240,000 people over four days.
Some attendees are using the trip to explore Louisville before seeing bands perform. “It’s always really fun to come here and explore some of the old hot spots but also see what’s new here because coming from Huntsville we don’t always get to see everything,” said Emily Heller from Huntsville. “We always like to see the development.”…
