NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — The New Orleans Police Department is trying to identify the suspects in a pair of crimes that happened about one mile and one hour apart. The cases are the latest ones to roll on the Wheel of Justice.
Both cases happened in the Gentilly neighborhood on Sept. 8. Around 5 a.m., a trio of thieves is blamed for burglarizing multiple cars in the 6000 block of Chatham Drive. Police say the thieves were wearing masks, hoodies and gloves.

Police did not say what items were taken in the burglaries.
Then, about one hour later and one mile away, in the 1300 block of Riveria Avenue, the NOPD says a car was stolen and at some point, a suspect walked to the porch of the victim’s home to search for an unknown item. Police say there were at least two other people who were waiting at the curb inside of the car…
