The Eugene City Council returned Sept. 14 from their summer break to a room packed full of residents.
All members of the council, barring Ward 3 councilor Alan Zelenka, were in attendance. Mayor Kaarin Knudson expressed her appreciation for those in attendance, who would later share their thoughts during public comment.

Knudson then moved on to acknowledge the Fiesta Cultural and Cascade Chorus Barbershop Harmony Day events, which took place earlier this month.
