Taylor Sheridan, the creator of Yellowstone, lives on the Bosque Creek Ranch outside Weatherford, Texas. It sits about 40 miles from Fort Worth, ELLE Decor reported. The ranch is the primary home for Sheridan, his wife, actress Nicole Muirbrook, and their son, Gus.
Sheridan also led the buyer group that owns the Four Sixes Ranch, a 266,000-acre property in Texas that has served as a Yellowstone filming location. He shoots many of his series on land he owns.
Bosque Creek Ranch Doubles as a Film Set
ELLE Decor reported that Sheridan bought the 600-acre Bosque Creek Ranch in 2013 for $264 million. Filming of 1883, the first Yellowstone prequel, began there in 2021. Paramount was charged $50,000 a week for the location, plus $25 per cow, the magazine said.
