Forty landlords and property managers, including Greystar Management Services, Equity Residential and Camden Property Trust, appear on the settlement administrator’s list of defendants behind a proposed $359,925,000 fund for renters, and RealPage, Inc., the software company at the center of the antitrust case, is not one of them. Renters who paid rent on a multifamily lease at a property licensed for RealPage’s pricing software between October 18, 2018 and November 21, 2025 can submit claims until January 29, 2027. No money moves yet, because Judge Waverly D. Crenshaw Jr. has not granted final approval.

Forty names, one fund and the defendant that is missing
The administrator’s website numbers its settling defendants from 1 to 40, and the roster reads like a directory of the largest apartment operators in the country: Bell Partners, Brookfield Properties Multifamily, Lincoln Property Co., Mid-America Apartment Communities, The Related Companies, Windsor Property Management and Pinnacle Property Management Services among them. The count carries one wrinkle. Entry 40 names two legal entities, WinnCompanies, LLC and WinnResidential Manager Corp., so the court notice, which prints the same list, runs to 41 numbered names. Forty is the administrator’s own count of entries.
RealPage does not appear anywhere on that list. The administrator’s page describes a $359,925,000 Settlement Fund that the settling landlords and managers agreed to, and the court notice refers to RealPage, Inc. as a non-settling defendant, which indicates the claims against the software vendor itself continue separately. The distinction shapes what renters give up: class members release claims against the settling defendants and their related entities, not against RealPage, so the fund resolves the landlord side of the case and leaves the vendor side open.
Which renters count as class members
The settlement class covers persons and entities who paid rent on at least one multifamily residential lease at a property licensed for RealPage’s Revenue Management Solutions, LRO, YieldStar or AIRM software during the class period. Membership therefore turns on the building, not on the landlord’s name alone, and the administrator provides a property lookup that checks whether a rental address appears on the Property List. A renter who paid rent anywhere in the country between October 18, 2018 and November 21, 2025 has a reason to run that check before the January 29, 2027 claim deadline…
