ROCKFORD, Ill. (WTVO) — A former auto body shop was demolished early Tuesday after a fire tore through the building overnight.
According to the Rockford Fire Department, at 3:08 a.m., crews were called to the fire at the former Nacho’s Auto Body, at 510 Buckee Street. First responders said flames were coming through the roof of the building when they arrived on the scene.
Firefighters brought the blaze under control within 15 minutes, but the building was determined to be a total loss, with an estimated $100,000 in damages…
