KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) – The University of Tennessee Arboretum Society will be hosting Thursday a Zoom program exploring the ten years after the historic wildfires in Gatlinburg.
The call is slated for 7 p.m. and will be hosted by the UT Arboretum education coordinated, Michelle Campanis. She’ll be joined by Stephen Lyn Bales, a former Gatlinburg resident, to discuss “Rising from the Ashes,” a 2022 UT Press piece that includes firsthand accounts of the disaster.
