AKRON OH- Hoban survived a dogfight Wednesday night and punched its ticket to the regional final with a gritty 5-4 win over Revere.
The Knights grabbed the lead for good in the sixth after Kyia Rankin put the ball in play and forced the defense to make a play. Revere got the out, but the go-ahead run crossed the plate, and Hoban finally broke the deadlock.
