AKRON, Ohio (WJW) — The Akron Fire Department battled a commercial fire at a market in the morning hours of Saturday, May 30.

According to a news release, crews were called to the fire at 554 W. Thornton Street just after 6 a.m. Heavy black smoke had been reported in the area.
The address is listed to Roush’s Market, which according to its Facebook page has been an institution in Akron for 70 years.
