CLEVELAND, Ohio — The National Weather Service is warning of dangerous swimming conditions along parts of the Lake Erie shoreline Saturday, urging residents and visitors to stay out of the water as a high risk of rip currents persists.
A Beach Hazards Statement remains in effect until 8 p.m. Saturday for some Northeast Ohio counties, where wind-driven waves are expected to create strong and potentially life-threatening currents.
