AKRON, Ohio (WOIO) – The attorney for the man accused of brutally murdering an Akron mother and shooting her son, has amended his plea to not guilty by reason of insanity.
Gregory Tillman was indicted on the charges of felonious assault, attempted murder, murder, and having weapons while under disability.
Akron police said Tillman killed Rebecca Lee Guthrie, 44, on Nov. 28, 2025.
