INDEPENDENCE, Ohio – Youngsters at Independence Primary School improved their engineering skills with a hands-on project.
The third- and fourth-grade students put creativity and collaboration into practice when they chose to work on an engineering project that sparked their interests, as part of the school’s student voice initiative.
And the winning project was to create a giant K’nex roller coaster. A school statement said: “Working together over time, students carefully followed the design process, building the structure piece by piece while practicing teamwork, problem-solving, and perseverance.”…
