MIDDLEBURG HEIGHTS, Ohio — Polaris Career Center has appointed Dave Bogner, a longtime career-technical education leader with experience in both Ohio and New York, as its new high school principal.
Bogner will begin the role Aug. 1 and will oversee all of the school’s high school career-technical programs. Polaris serves students from multiple Northeast Ohio school districts through career-technical education programs designed to prepare graduates for careers, college and workforce opportunities.
The appointment follows a career that has included leadership roles in school counseling, administration and career-technical education. Most recently, Bogner served as director of career and technical education for the Heights Career Tech Consortium, a five-district partnership serving Bedford, Cleveland Heights-University Heights, Maple Heights, Shaker Heights and Warrensville Heights high schools…
