Suspected explosive found at Cleveland Homeland Security Office: I-Team

BROOKLYN HEIGHTS, Ohio (WJW) — A suspicious package containing a live explosive device prompted the evacuation of seven buildings Monday at an office complex in Brooklyn Heights, according to sources who spoke with the FOX 8 I-Team.

The device was discovered inside a building at 925 Keynote Circle after a law enforcement K-9 alerted investigators to a box containing the explosive, sources said.

One of the agencies at the location includes a ClevelandHomeland Security office, FOX 8 News confirmed.

Authorities evacuated seven nearby buildings as a precaution while investigators secured the scene. No injuries were reported.
