AKRON, Ohio – For years, Joe Gallagher wanted a private dining room in his restaurant, D’Agnese’s at White Pond Akron.
He and his business partner, Jim Belardo, have maintained a solid menu with plenty of Italian choices ranging from arancini as an appetizer to gnocchi Florentine to multiple seafood and meat dishes. The restaurant is closing in on its 16th anniversary in September at the White Pond Drive exit off Interstate 77.
But the one thing that eluded them was the ability to expand on site…
