CLEVELAND, Ohio — Should Cuyahoga County be allowed to extend taxes for decades without voter approval?
That’s one of several questions County Council will begin debating Tuesday as members consider six charter amendment proposals that would also determine whether the county should return to an elected sheriff, expand the law director’s authority, establish campaign finance rules for county races and give council a greater say over removing members from boards and commissions.
