5 arrested in Pike County after pounds of meth, fentanyl found hidden in vehicle’s door frame

PIKEVILLE, Ky. (FOX 56) —Authorities said that a week-long drug investigation in Pike County ended with five people facing charges.

Kentucky State Police said troopers stopped two vehicles believed to be traveling together in the Belfry community.

Detectives had received information that the group was bringing illegal drugs into the county.Investigators said a follow-up search found drugs hidden inside the door frames of one of the vehicles.
