Arraignment canceled for Canton man accused of stabbing girlfriend 15 times, arrested after several police pursuits

STOW, Ohio (WOIO) – The man accused of stabbing his girlfriend, then later shooting at Ohio State Highway Patrol troopers and taking off on a chase was set to be arraigned in Canton Municipal Court on Friday morning, but a waterline break closed city hall.

Julius Edwards, 39, is facing charges of attempted murder, felonious assault and domestic violence in connection with the stabbing.

He was set to face a judge at 8:30 a.m., but just before 8 a.m., city hall announed its closure after a waterline break inside the building…
