New Summit County property values will be sent to owners beginning July 20

New property value notices for Summit County owners will be mailed starting on July 20, since the 2026 reappraisal by the Summit County Fiscal Officer is complete.

All of Summit County’s approximately 262,000 parcels are required by the state to be reviewed and evaluated every six years by county appraisers, with each parcel’s value set at market value for tax year 2026, according to a press release from Summit County Fiscal Officer Kristen Scalise.

Since taxes are paid one year in arrears, any change in value from the 2026 reappraisal will be reflected on tax bills mailed in January 2027…
