AKRON — City of Akron officials invited residents to help shape the future of transportation safety by participating in a series of upcoming community engagement opportunities as part of Akron’s Safe Streets 4 All (SS4A) Program. There is also a survey available to provide feedback on roadway safety, multi-mobility and future improvements. The survey is available at tinyurl.com/4mhksrmb.
Funded through the U.S. Department of Transportation’s Safe Streets and Roads for All program, Akron’s SS4A initiative is developing a comprehensive Safety Action Plan to reduce traffic-related deaths and serious injuries while making it safer and easier for everyone to travel throughout the city, whether walking, biking, rolling, taking transit or driving.
