LAKEMORE — For the first time since 2024, The Lakemore Village Fire Department is being led by a chief and an assistant chief.
Lakemore Village Council July 20 approved the promotions of Kevin Atkinson and Joe Dies to the positions of part-time chief and part-time assistant chief, respectively. The Fire Department has been run by two assistant chiefs since the resignation of former Chief Brett Reinbolt, who left the department in January 2024 to accept the position of Springfield Township Fire Chief.
