STOW, Ohio (WJW) — A man died Saturday night after firefighters pulled him from a burning home in Stow.

According to a news release from the Stow Fire Department, crews were sent to a two-story, split-level home at 5247 Stow Road around 10:50 p.m. on Aug. 1.
Firefighters were met with heavy smoke and fire coming from the home, with “significant” involvement at the back of the structure.
After entering through the front of the home, firefighters located a 46-year-old man on the second floor. He was quickly taken outside where life-saving measures were initiated.
