Community leaders, alumni, coaches celebrate completion of stadium enhancements
AKRON — St. Vincent-St. Mary High School (STVM) Aug. 5 officially unveiled the newly enhanced VanDevere Automotive Family Stadium during a community ribbon-cutting ceremony.
The event marked the completion of the first phase of improvements made possible through STVM’s partnership with the VanDevere Automotive Family. The enhancements include a brand-new synthetic turf field, new stadium branding, upgraded fan experience and the official dedication of the renamed stadium while continuing to honor the legacy of the John Cistone Field.
