Summa Health adds AI tools for scans, referrals and more

CLEVELAND, Ohio — Artificial intelligence will soon analyze chest scans, make specialist referrals more efficient and automate supply orders at Akron’s Summa Health, thanks to a host of new health tech partnerships.

These health tech companies, which use AI to improve patient experience and cut costs, are part of Summa’s transformation plan, Summa and its owner, General Catalyst’s Health Assurance Transformation Company (HATCo), announced Wednesday.
