Phillip Partin, Manchester handle Tuslaw for seventh straight win

MASSILLON, OH– After a relatively slow start for the Panthers of Manchester they found a way to pour it on in the second half to preserve a 46-14 win over Tuslaw to improve to 7-0 on the season.

Manchester came into the game riding a six game win streak with a few games with a running clock for first year head coach Kevin Stacy.

In the first quarter Tuslaw could not convert handing the ball over to Manchester just under the eleven minute mark, it didn’t take long for running back Phillip Partin to get rolling scoring on a 19 yard run with 11:02 left in the first quarter with a successful point after.

Tuslaw would rally back ending the quarter with an interception thrown by Yadin Sharp to Nathan Eberhardt, but the rally fell short with Tuslaw quarterback Ethan Haer tossing a interception to Jayce Mauger that would lead to second touchdown by Partin with 7:15 left in second quarter, a 8 yard run to go up 13-0 after a failed point after.

The mustangs would respond with a down field catch by Parker Reinhart at the 2 yard line that would lead to a 2 yard touchdown run by Joey Medure with just under two minutes left in the half to close the gap 7-19 after a failed 2-point conversion, that would end the half.
