Pammy Maye now found competent to stand trial in 5-year-old Darnell Taylor’s death

COLUMBUS, Ohio — A woman charged with murder in the death of a 5-year-old boy was found to be competent to stand trial.

Judge Mark Serrott announced in court on Monday that a recent report prepared by psychologists found Pammy Maye to be competent to stand trial for charges related to Darnell Taylor’s death.

Maye is charged with aggravated murder, three counts of tampering with evidence and abuse of a corpse. She pleaded not guilty…
