PARMA, Ohio (WJW) – A spokesperson with the Youngstown Air Reserve Station confirmed to the I-Team that a Parma Board of Education member is now serving full-time.
“Ashley McTaggart is a member of the 910th Airlift Wing and is currently on full-time military orders. While we cannot provide details on unit activations, our mobility forces are always ready to respond to any contingency,” a statement from the Youngstown Air Reserve Station stated.
Her status with the military has been the topic of raging debate in Parma, as some members of the board of education wonder if she can hold her seat while being deployed for several months.
