STARK COUNTY, Ohio (WOIO) – The man accused of stabbing a woman in a Jackson Township parking lot and leading Portage County Sheriff deputies on a chase, has now changed his plea to not guilty by reason of insanity.
Tyrone Card, 44, was previously indicted on the below charges:
- Attempted murder
- Aggravated robbery
- Aggravated robbery
- Felonious assault
- Felonious assault
According to Jackson Township police, the attack happened just before 8 a.m. Feb. 17 in the 5100 block of Dressler Rd. NW in the Belden Village area.
When officers arrived, they found the woman with injuries to her neck, head, and chest areas.
