AKRON, Ohio (WJW) — An Akron man has been convicted of fatally beating his wife and breaking four of her ribs, which officials said cut her spleen, causing her to bleed to death later that night.
Rasheed D. Lagway, 44, of Akron, was indicted in October on felony counts of murder and felonious assault and a misdemeanor count of domestic violence, after the woman’s unexpected death on Aug. 31.
