Bodycam video: Authorities respond after plane went down in Summit County

RICHFIELD, Ohio (WJW) – Police received several calls about a plane crash on Sunday afternoon. One of the callers told them a plane had landed in his back yard, unsure at the time if everyone inside the aircraft was OK.

The plane went down behind a home on McCormick Drive in Richfield Township, near Medina Line Road.

By the time the first responding officer arrived, the pilot, a 60-year-old man who said he was from Vienna, Ohio, was out of the plane talking with the property owners and officers, letting them know he was fine…
