A Barberton man was arrested for operating a motor vehicle impaired, open container, marijuana possession and resisting arrest and was taken to the Medina County Jail at 6:24 p.m. April 15. According to reports, the man came to the Brunswick Police Department to file a report against an auto dealership from which he had purchased a vehicle. The man was reportedly “highly agitated” and parked his vehicle directly in front of the department lobby doors, blocking the flow of incoming and outgoing traffic. Officers approached the vehicle and observed an open container of an alcoholic beverage inside. The man was instructed multiple times to step out of the vehicle but refused to comply. He was then forcibly removed from the vehicle, at which time he pulled away from officers. He was taken to the ground and placed into handcuffs without further incident, reports stated…
