East Canton spring cleanup

EAST CANTON – A free spring cleanup will be May 16 for existing Kimble customers. Trash should be bundled, boxed or bagged and set at curbside by 6 a.m. Brush must be bundled and cut into four-foot lengths. All items must weigh less than 50 pounds.

Furniture and appliances (except freezers, refrigerators, dehumidifiers and air conditioners) will be accepted. To see a list of unacceptable items, visit https://villageeastcanton.net.

Canton Senior Expo

CANTON ‒ The 36th annual Canton Senior Expo will be from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. May 6 at the Cultural Center for the Arts, 1001 Market Ave. N. Admission, parking and activities are free.

Local vendors will share information on health and wellness, retirement, recreational activities, housing options, insurance, home improvement and senior organizations. There will be information sessions, entertainment, refreshments and the chance to win prizes.
