Man pleads guilty in high-speed chase from Portage to Mahoning County

BOARDMAN, Ohio (WKBN) — A man pleaded guilty to a high-speed chase that went across into Mahoning County earlier this year.

Joshua Collmar, of Barberton, pleaded guilty to failure to comply with the order of a police officer and driving under suspension in Portage County Court of Common Pleas, according to court records.

In February, investigators said Collmar fled from a traffic stop by Ohio State Highway Patrol troopers in Portage County. Officials said he was wanted on multiple warrants, including for a charge of felony theft charge out of Boardman’s jurisdiction that was issued in October 2025…
