ITHACA, N.Y. – Twelve years after prior plans to develop a county-owned property fell through, Tompkins County legislators are again looking at selling off a vacant West Hill parcel to help address the county’s housing shortage.
On June 3, the county legislature’s Housing and Economic Development Committee discussed future options for what members called the “Biggs parcel,” a 25.52-acre property in the Town of Ithaca at the intersection of Harris B. Dates Drive and Indian Creek Road.
