Man stabbed at Schenectady home during driveway dispute

SCHENECTADY, N.Y. (WNYT) – Schenectady police said a 31-year-old man was stabbed after an argument over a shared driveway, and two city residents were later arrested.

According to Schenectady police, officers responded to 22 Hawk Street at about 8:45 p.m. June 8 for a reported stabbing. Police said they found the man with a stab wound to the back and that he had non-life-threatening injuries before he was taken to a local hospital.

Police said the man told officers he got into an argument with another person about a shared driveway before he was stabbed. After investigating, officers arrested Tyriek Q. Sontag, 19, of Schenectady and charged him with second-degree assault, a Class D felony…
