TROY — A suspected flare or firework started a fire late Friday night at a Fourth Street home, city police said Tuesday.
City firefighters responded around 10:50 p.m. after the fire started in a trash can, damaging the siding of the home near the intersection with Jefferson Street, police said. It’s believed the fire was caused by a firework or flare.
Detectives are continuing to investigate to determine what the item was and who might have set it off, police said…
